Jennifer Moore

Jennifer Moore is the current President of the Northshire Day School Board of Trustees. A former Northshire Day School parent, Jennifer resides in Manchester Center, Vermont, with her two children, Jude and Lucy. She is currently the Men’s Multichannel Business Analyst at Orvis, where she has worked for four years. Prior to joining Orvis, Jennifer practiced law for ten years, practicing as a full-service attorney in Vermont, and as a complex commercial litigator in Southern California. Jennifer earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Colgate University, and her law degree from the University of Colorado at Boulder. She enjoys live music, hiking, camping, running, yoga, and exploring Vermont and beyond with Jude and Lucy.


Lizzy Lindenberg
Lizzy is our organization's Vice President. A native Vermonter from the Northeast Kingdom, Lizzy has lived in the Manchester area since 2001.  She and her husband Dave have a young son, Zachary, who has been at Northshire Day School since he was six months old. Lizzy holds a masters degree in language education, and has been the French teacher at Maple Street School in Manchester for 10 years.  Prior to holding this position, she taught in New  York City and in South Carolina. Lizzy’s hobbies include cross-country skiing, cooking, and enjoying time with her family. Lizzy is excited to join the board and looks forward to using her experiences as an elementary school teacher and as a parent in serving the NDS community.


Erica Lin

Erica Lin is a Northshire Day School parent and resides in Sandgate, Vermont, with her husband Eric Weissleder and their children, Joshua and Abby. She is currently a Senior Marketing Manager at American Express, where she has worked for 10 years, and looks forward to leveraging her background in online marketing, social media, and website-user-experience to increase communication and collaboration between teachers, parents, and the community at NDS.  Erica earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Connecticut College and a Master's degree in business administration from Cornell University. She enjoys cooking, gardening, and spending time outdoors with her family.


Nancy Mark

Nancy is the NDS Board Secretary. She has been principal of The Mettowee Community School since its opening in 1998. The school was conceived when the two towns of Pawlet and Rupert, Vermont joined to form a new union, closed their four aging district schools and built a new school for their children. Prior to her appointment as the Mettowee Community School Principal, Nancy served as principal of the Pawlet Schools for ten years. Nancy and her husband Joe, and two daughters, moved to Vermont in 1980 from Clarmemont, California, where Nancy was a teacher at The Mary B Eyre School which is affiliated with the Claremont Graduate School of Education. Upon moving to Vermont, Nancy served as Executive Director of Apple Tree Children’s Center in Castleton, Vermont. Nancy holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature from Wheaton College in Norton, Massachusetts, a Master of Arts degree from the University of Rochester and a Certificate of Advanced Studies in Education Administration from Castleton State College. Nancy was chosen as Vermont’s Elementary Principal of the year in 2000.


John Graf

John Graf is a Northshire Day School parent.  He resides in Pawlet with his wife Sarah DeLong Graf and two children, Weston and Emma. He is currently in his 10th year of teaching social studies at Burr and Burton Academy where he also serves as the Junior Varsity Girls Lacrosse coach and Freshman Grade Level Coordinator.  Prior to coming to Burr and Burton Academy John taught 7th & 8th grade at Mill River Union Middle School for two years. John is a 2000 graduate of Elizabethtown  College were he earned B.S in Social Studies Education. He enjoys skiing, traveling, and the outdoors. Though not a native of Vermont, John cannot think of a better community in which to live, work and raise a family.


Lindsay Melzig

Lindsay Melzig resides in Manchester, VT with her husband, Doug, and their two labs Hank and Josie. In 2013, they relocated from Baltimore, MD in an effort to get out of the urban chaos and find a welcoming community that afforded them an active, outdoor lifestyle. Lindsay was originally introduced to the Southern Vermont region during her time at Williams College, where she received her B.A. in Art History and Philosophy and was a member of the Basketball and Track & Field teams. After Williams, she went to work for Under Armour and is thrilled to still be with the energetic company today, working from home as a Senior Sales and Merchandise Planner in their Outdoor Division. In addition to her work with Under Armour, Lindsay enjoys expressing her creative side through wedding planning and decorative event work. She has been a “Big Sister” through the Big Brothers Big Sisters program since 2010, and has enjoyed volunteering for the Wounded Warrior Project over the years as well. The Northshire Day School Board of Trustees is her first board experience, and she looks forward to bringing her organizational, communications, and branding skills to the NDS community.
